In April 2013 over 1000 garments workers were killed in the Rana Plaza factory collapse in Bangladesh. Since then students and activists have responded to labor union calls for action by repeatedly shutting down Benetton and Matalan shops in demand that they sign up to the Bangladesh Safety Accord.
These images, subverting the Benetton brand, were used as part of a 'die-in' and shut down of the company's flagship store on Oxford Street.
